Additional Services
In addition to coating and blasting, we offer specialized shop services including welding, cutting, polishing, grinding, sanding, deburring, chemical stripping, tire mounting/balancing, vinyl masking, wheel repair, bearing removal, part assembly, delivery and pick up.
We often hear: "I wish you would offer this service." or "Can you guys also do this?" Well, we've been listening to your comments and continue to expand our business in the direction our customers guide us. These services are offered as a way to save you time and money by dealing with a single shop.
Pricing is based on a flat hourly rate as each job has unique requirements. We appreciate your business and will often combine the cost of additional services into the powder coating and media blasting cost. At the end of the day, we know how to treat our customers and will always do the right thing.
Tire Mounting and Balancing
We have the ability to dismount, mount and balance tires, saving you numerous trips to the tire store, wheel repair shop, and the powder coating guys.
We are your one stop shop for getting wheels powder coated. By performing all tire services in-house we can guarantee that wheels will not be damaged and avoid any confusion between third parties.
We employ the same Coats direct drive balancer and Hunter tire machine found in large tire retail stores, with the professional and friendly service that you have already become used to from our staff.
Bushings and Bearing Removal
Removing bushings and bearings from parts such as lower control arms or hubs is a tedious, but necessary task that must be performed prior to powder coating. Bearings will tend to leak oil during the curing process while bushings will melt at high temperatures.
We can help pull or press most bearings, bushings and ball joints from small or large parts. We can also assist you with the installation of the new bearings or bushings and work with you to make sure parts are masked to maintain proper clearance. Give us a call or come by if you need any help, we have a press and pullers and will be glad to help!
Cutting, Grinding and Deburring
Whether it's a brand new truck bumper that must be trimmed to fit over a hitch or a hundred small widgets straight out of the manufacturing line with sharp edges that need grinding, we can help.
Most commonly we find parts that need to be touched up prior to powder coating due to burrs created during fabrication and machining operations.
We can cut any excess portions of metal, grind any sharp edges, or knock down burrs through media blasting. Just give us measurements and finishing requirements and we'll get to work!
Removal and Assembly of Parts
In order to properly powder coat an item it must be broken down as far as possible. For the hobbyist this sometimes means removing hardware that requires special tools or machinery.
If you've come to a standing still with your project because of a stubborn part, give us a call, we might be able to help with some tools, a different approach, or just some good old elbow grease.
Commercial customers can also take advantage of our ability to assemble and package parts so they are returned as a finished product that is ready to go into service.
Wheel Curb Rash Repair
It happens, whether by hitting a curb or driving into a pothole, wheels get damaged. We have the the skills and tools needed to repair wheels and coat them to look like new.
The cost of fixing a wheel will depend on the amount of damage, although most minor cosmetic repairs will be included under our normal wheel powder coating pricing.
We do however limit our repairs to cosmetic damage only, as we believe that any wheel that shows any stress cracks or extreme bends should simply be replaced.
Pick-Up, Packaging and Delivery
Whether you are hobbyist with just a few parts or a large corporation with hundreds of pieces, we are ready to serve you with efficient and professional transportation services.
We often pick up larger items involved in automotive restorations, such as car and truck frames, rear-end housings, and suspension components.
For our commercial customers we offer the convenience of picking up large lots of palatalized parts and package them for delivery according to your specifications.
We have the trucks, trailers, and forklifts to pick up and delivery any job that we can media blast and powder coat. We offer local pickup and delivery to customers throughout all of Clark County.
